Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Physiatry Specialist to join our medical team in Spokane, WA. This position offers a competitive salary with bonus potential and a full suite of benefits. The ideal candidate will be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) and either hold or be willing to obtain a Washington state medical license. The role focuses on adult patients, with minimal pediatric involvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and treat patients with a wide range of physical disabilities and conditions, including musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiovascular disorders.

Develop individualized rehabilitation programs to improve patient mobility, function, and quality of life. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other specialists, to provide comprehensive care. Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, such as electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction studies. Administer therapeutic interventions, including injections, medication management, and other non-surgical treatments. Engage in patient education, promoting wellness and preventive care strategies. Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. Participate in ongoing professional development through Continuing Medical Education (CME) to stay current with advances in physiatry.

Qualifications:
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R). Valid Washington state medical license or willingness to obtain one. Experience in managing adult patients with physical disabilities and rehabilitation needs, with minimal pediatric exposure. Strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills, with a patient-centered approach to care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current in the field of physiatry.
