Job Title: Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant

Connected Health Care is seeking a skilled Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team for a travel assignment in Longview, Washington.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to provide high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with patients of all ages and backgrounds, and will be able to work effectively as part of a team to achieve excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist physical therapists in the delivery of patient care, including conducting patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions.
  • Provide direct patient care, including exercises, modalities, and other interventions as prescribed by the physical therapist.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including progress notes and treatment plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and evidence-based interventions.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Washington.
  • Experience working in an outpatient setting, preferably with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
