Job Summary
JEO Consulting Group's Transportation Department provides expertise and services including traffic engineering, transportation planning, roadway design, structural services, and bridge design. The Bridge/Structural Engineer is supported by a department of professionals to support managing successful projects that exceed client expectations while meeting JEO's financial goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage bridge projects from planning to completion, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
- Perform structural design calculations, bridge design details, and specifications development to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Determine bridge quantity development, assign work, and/or checking design calculations, and construction cost estimate to ensure project feasibility.
- Develop and maintain strong technical skills and successful experience in leadership projects, driving innovation and excellence.
- Participate in client development activities and project pursuits to identify new business opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering or related field.
- 8+ years of associated experience in bridge design and project management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in the engineering industry on bridge projects, with a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
- Master's degree in civil/structural engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in MicroStation and other relevant software tools.
