About the Role:
Clean and refurbish new and used vehicles, adhering to dealership and manufacturer specifications. This role involves ensuring exceptional attention to detail, maintaining showroom standards, and providing excellent customer service.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and Refurbishing Vehicles: Wash and clean exterior and interior surfaces, windows, and doorjambs. Apply wax and buff auto body surfaces. Vacuum interior spaces to remove loose dirt and debris.
- Interior Cleaning and Restoration: Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents and devices. Treat interior vinyl or leather surfaces with revitalizers and preservation agents.
- Engine Compartment Cleaning: Clean engine compartments with steam-cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents.
- Inspections and Repairs: Inspect vehicles for noticeable defects and restore appearance. Replace missing or defective small parts.
- Maintenance and Showroom Standards: Maintain showroom and stock vehicles in clean condition.
Requirements and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a High School graduate or equivalent, minimum 2 years of detailing experience, good customer service skills, and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. The estimated salary for this position is $40,000 - $55,000 annually, depending on experience.
