Job Summary:- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the MICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and manage patient's vital signs, medication, and treatment plans, and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and promote patient satisfaction.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required prior to orientation completion.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
