Job Summary

This position operates shot blasting equipment and airless paint pump to blast and paint large pressure vessels and smaller parts. Also operates pressure washer to clean stainless steel tanks. Responsible for adjusting and setting air pressure and equipment as required also mixing different types of industrial paints

The successful candidate will be able to perform all duties in accordance with company's quality control, quality assurance, and health and safety policies and procedures, as well as industry standards and project specifications.

    • Abrasive blasting and sandblasting
    • Hand and power tool operation
  • Equipment Operation and Maintenance
    • Shot blasting equipment
    • Airless paint pump
    • Pressure washer
  • Access, Containment, Systems, and Safety Equipment
    • Loading and unloading equipment
    • Maintenance and repair projects
    • Cleaning shop and yard
    • Painting and tank cleaning
Requirements
  • A very positive attitude, self-motivated, and the ability to learn new skills and follow detailed instructions
  • The ability to operate basic power tools (drills, band saws, skill saws, etc.)
  • Must be able to read a tape measure and be comfortable with basic math
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to set up airless paint pump
  • Experience with sandblasting and industrial painting
