Position Overview: Associate Medical Director
Provider Healthcare is seeking an experienced Associate Medical Director specializing in psychiatry and addiction medicine. Our organization is committed to fostering a supportive and trauma-informed atmosphere, employing evidence-based methodologies to assist individuals in their recovery from substance use disorders. We operate a residential facility designed to accommodate a significant number of women, alongside a dedicated outpatient program offering services to women and adolescent mothers.
- Full-time role (40 hours per week)

Qualifications and Experience:
- Possession of a valid and unrestricted Physician's License in California (MD or DO) with a specialization in psychiatry and/or addiction medicine
- Current DEA registration
- Proven track record of working with adults facing chronic medical issues and co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges
- A minimum of 5 years of post-licensure experience in intensive psychiatric and substance use treatment environments
Preferred Credentials:
- Board Certification in Psychiatry and/or Addiction Medicine
- At least 2 years of experience in a medical director capacity within a psychiatric or substance use treatment setting
