Job Summary:The Travel Nurse RN will be responsible for providing direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting. This includes assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care in a PCU setting, including assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning, as needed.
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- 1-2 years of recent acute care experience, preferably in a PCU setting.
- ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
