Position Overview:
WinnMed is actively looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to become a vital part of our Emergency Department team.

The Emergency Department (ED) RNs are responsible for delivering exceptional patient care to a diverse range of individuals, including infants, children, teenagers, adults, and seniors who arrive at the ED and/or Urgent Care.

Our ED operates around the clock, staffed by a collaborative team of physicians, RNs, paramedics/EMTs, CNAs, and administrative personnel.
This role involves rotating shifts, including 12-hour schedules, every third weekend, and participation in holiday rotations. The position is .75 FTE (30 hours per week/60 hours per pay period) and includes a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus. Full-time benefits are available.

Shift Premiums:

  • $2.00/hour Weekend Premium
  • $3.00/hour Evening Premium
  • $4.00/hour Overnight Premium
Qualifications:

• Degree in nursing is mandatory
• A valid RN license to practice in Iowa is required
• Previous nursing experience is preferred
• BLS, PALS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications are required; certification can be obtained through WMC.
• Candidates must be highly motivated, possess outstanding interpersonal skills, and work effectively within a team environment.
