Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures using state-of-the-art equipment and technology
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explain instructions, and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the examination
  • Identify anatomical structures and obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient information and examination results
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest ultrasound technology and techniques through ongoing education and training
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of excellence and patient-centered care
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in radiologic technology or a related field preferred
  • ARDMS certification and 5+ years of experience as an ultrasound technologist required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Ability to lift and move patients, as well as stand for long periods of time, is required
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
