Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and mechanically skilled individual to join our team as an Appliance Delivery Specialist. As a key member of our delivery and installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery, installation, and setup of high-end appliances in our customers' homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely load, transport, and unload appliances to customers' homes, ensuring they arrive in perfect condition.
  • Drive a 6-foot box truck to deliver appliances to customer locations.
  • Install and set up appliances, including refrigerators, ovens, washers, dryers, and more, following manufacturer guidelines and safety procedures.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to ensure appliances are in optimal working condition before leaving the customer's premises.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any questions or concerns and ensuring customers are comfortable with their new appliances.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues or complications during installation, displaying strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Adapt to various installation scenarios and work with different appliance models, configurations, and customer preferences.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, installations, and service performed.
  • Collaborate with the customer service team to schedule appointments and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Keep the delivery vehicle well-maintained, clean, and organized.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or mechanical education or certifications preferred.
  • Previous experience in appliance installation and delivery is preferred, but we also welcome candidates who are eager to learn and adapt to this role.
  • Strong mechanical background and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to adapt to different situations and customer needs.
  • Physically capable of lifting heavy appliances and performing installation tasks.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
  • Availability to work weekends and evenings as needed.
