Position: Welder

ROLE SUMMARY

Welders play a crucial role in various activities associated with welding, cutting, grinding, and maintaining cleanliness on the projects they undertake. They collaborate closely with other skilled tradespeople and project managers to ensure efficiency and quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute assigned duties to facilitate the successful execution of construction initiatives.
  • Carry out cutting, welding, chipping, and grinding tasks as required by the project specifications.
  • Utilize tools such as cutting torches, welding apparatus, and cranes for project execution.
  • Repair machinery by fabricating components using saws, presses, drills, and grinders.
  • Work in tandem with fellow team members to achieve project milestones.
  • Adhere to safety and environmental protocols to meet regulatory standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates should possess a minimum of two years of welding experience or equivalent training. A solid understanding of welding techniques, metal types, equipment operation, and safety protocols is vital. Proficiency in welding assessments and the ability to operate welding machinery and tools is essential.

Strong communication skills and basic record-keeping capabilities are required for this position.
