Senior Barista

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Barista to join our team at Barnes & Noble. As a Senior Barista, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, mentoring and guiding other baristas, and contributing to the overall success of our café.

• Provide top-notch customer service, ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and memorable.
• Mentor and train new baristas, sharing your expertise and knowledge to help them grow and develop in their roles.
• Support the café team in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, promote products, and drive business growth.
• Stay up-to-date with café offerings, operational procedures, and company initiatives, applying this knowledge to enhance customer experiences and drive business success.

• Proven experience as a Senior Barista or in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional customer service and mentoring others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers, colleagues, and management.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple responsibilities.
• Knowledge of café operations, including coffee preparation, food service, and cash handling.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

We offer a competitive hourly rate, starting at $18.75, as well as a range of benefits, including:

• Part-time employees: sick pay, employee discount, and 1 week of vacation after 1 year.
