Warp Beam Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Warp Beam Technician to join our team at Phifer Incorporated.

The successful candidate will be responsible for replacing warp beams, performing size checks, and entering production information into our computer system. This role requires attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Replace warp beams according to established procedures
• Perform size checks of cloth against production schedules
• Enter production information into our computer system
• Aid loom operators as needed

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 8th grade level or higher on the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) exam or WorkKeys score based on the job profile
• Certification to operate forklift and refuel material handling equipment, and Lockout Tagout
• Ability to lift up to 50-110 pounds and exert heavy force on an A-frame occasionally
