Caregiver Assistant

- Transport individuals to our centers and to community outings, promoting socialization and engagement
- Lead small group and skill-building activities, fostering creativity and independence
- Document progress and goals, ensuring accurate and effective support
- Provide companionship and emotional support, building strong relationships
- Assist with mobility, hygiene, and meal preparation, ensuring physical and emotional well-being
- Administer medication, following established protocols and procedures
- Contribute to light cleaning activities, maintaining a safe and healthy environment
- Previous experience in a caregiving or support role, preferably with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- First aid and CPR certification, ensuring a safe and responsive environment
- Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills, enabling effective support
- Ability to adhere to health and safety guidelines, prioritizing the well-being of clients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration and relationships
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, ensuring physical safety and comfort
