Job SummaryThe Geriatric Medicine Physician will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to our patients, including assessment, development of treatment plans, and provision of direct medical care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geriatric medicine and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide primary medical care to patients, including assessment, development of treatment plans, and provision of direct medical care.
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices in geriatric medicine.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to geriatric medicine.
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Board Certified in Geriatric Medicine (preferred).
- MA license (or willing to obtain).
- CDS Certification & DEA Verbal Confirmation Registration (prior to start).
- Minimum 1 year working with the frail or elderly population.
- BLS (prior to start).
- Clean/Clear malpractice.
- EMR TruChart experience (highly preferred).
