LPN Ambulatory Care Specialist

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in providing exceptional patient care. As an LPN, you will work alongside passionate caregivers to deliver top-quality healthcare to diverse populations of patients in our department.
Responsibilities:
- Collects and documents objective and subjective data and observations about the patient.
- Contributes observations and health information to the nursing assessment and reports all data to the RN or authorized directing health care provider.
- Implements the current plan of nursing care at the direction of the RN, or the medication or treatment authorized by the authorized directing health care provider.
- Documents and verbally communicates the patient's response to the nursing plan of care, or the medication or treatment including observing patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments and performing routine laboratory tests.
- Contributes to the revision of the nursing plan of care
- Provides education and information to patients and family members.
- Maintains professional growth and development within nursing field.
- Participates in the departmental orientation of new employees in a positive manner, shares knowledge, experiences, and provides guidance when assigned.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved school of Practical Nursing.
- Current Ohio License as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA).
