We are seeking a highly motivated Warehouse Technician - Waste Management Specialist to join our team in Haw River, NC.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all waste is unloaded from vehicles, decontaminated, and staged for scanning and processing. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Unload waste from incoming vehicles, separating non-autoclavable waste for incineration.
• Stage waste on conveyor systems or properly stack waste for scanning in the Biotrack system.
• Scan waste into the Biotrack system for recordkeeping purposes.
• Load autoclave bins or incinerator hoppers with waste for processing.
• Decontaminate vehicle cargo-carrying portions, reload re-usable tubs, and ensure cargo-carrying portions of vehicles do not have free liquids on the floor.
• Maintain housekeeping standards by addressing spills, dry floors, and debris immediately.
• Assist in other areas of plant operations as directed.

Requirements

• One year related experience or training, demonstrating strong communication skills and tact.
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds and push/pull carts weighing up to 500 pounds.
• Demonstrated knowledge of barcode scanning and basic computer skills.
• Familiarity with Hazardous Materials and OSHA Regulations.

Salary Range:$16.00/hr - $17.00/hr (actual compensation may vary based on location, experience, and job responsibilities)
