Bariatric Psychologist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Bariatric Psychologist to join our team at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. As a key member of our Department of Psychiatry, you will provide expert clinical care and education to patients undergoing weight management and bariatric surgery.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide ambulatory clinical care to patients with weight management and related disorders
  • Develop and implement cognitive-behavioral treatment plans for patients
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Teach and supervise trainees in the Brigham and Women's Hospital/Harvard Medical School Psychology Internship Training Program and Psychiatry Residency Training Program
Qualifications:
  • Completed an APA-accredited doctoral program in clinical psychology
  • APA-accredited internship and licensure in Massachusetts (or license eligible)
  • Strong background in cognitive-behavioral conceptualization and treatment, as well as behavioral medicine training
