Vista Health System is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR). As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the safety of surgical patients during procedures.
Responsibilities- Assess patient status and provide individualized care
- Provide supplies and equipment for surgical procedures
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth procedure execution
- Communicate effectively with patients and families to provide information and support
- Participate in call coverage for emergencies and provide timely interventions
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 6 months of experience in CVOR with open heart experience
- 2 years of general OR experience (consideration given to OR RNs with some CV/open heart exposure)
- Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Illinois
- BLS & ACLS certification
- BSN strongly preferred
