We are seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon to enhance our surgical team. This role is based in a vibrant coastal city known for its rich history and exceptional quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine heart surgeries and thoracic procedures, including valve surgeries such as TAVR and mitral.
- Manage a significant caseload, currently exceeding 200 heart surgeries annually, with a steady growth trajectory.
- Collaborate with a diverse group of cardiology professionals, including interventionalists and medical cardiologists.
- Oversee a comprehensive surgical infrastructure, including 2 dedicated CVORs and a team of skilled PAs.
- Must be Board Certified; new graduates are not eligible.
- Experience in a high-volume surgical environment is preferred.
- Eligible candidates should provide a current case mix, volume, and STS data with their application.
