Compensation Overview

The annual base salary range for this role reflects a nationwide market range and varies based on several factors, including the complexity of the role, the candidate's qualifications, and other employment conditions. Our comprehensive compensation and benefits program also includes performance-based cash incentives.

Position Overview

This entry-level role requires successful completion of training to progress to the position of Claim Professional, Outside Property. The aim is to cultivate skills in investigating, assessing, negotiating, and resolving claims of lower value and complexity. You will ensure quality claim management throughout the entire claim lifecycle, adhering to internal and external quality standards and relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

As part of your training, you will engage in a blend of online, virtual, classroom, and hands-on learning, which may involve travel. Your on-the-job training will encompass:
  • Managing first-party property claims of moderate complexity.
  • Determining the accurate scope of damages for property losses to inform written estimates.
  • Utilizing innovative technologies extensively.
  • Conducting thorough investigations to ascertain coverage and damages.
  • Establishing timely and precise claim reserves.
  • Negotiating settlements within defined authority limits.
  • Drafting denial letters and other complex correspondence.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to all stakeholders.
  • Identifying cases that require escalation to specialized units.
  • Performing administrative tasks as needed.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A Bachelor's Degree or a minimum of two years of relevant work or customer service experience.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic analytical and decision-making skills.
  • A valid driver's license.
