We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team at Sugar River Animal Hospital. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our veterinarians in delivering exceptional medical services.

• Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including radiology, laboratory, and pharmacy tasks
• Educate clients on animal care and health, providing them with the knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions about their pets' well-being
• Conduct radiology and laboratory tests, and prepare samples for analysis
• Assist with anesthesia and surgery, ensuring the safety and comfort of our patients
• Manage appointments, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with clients and staff

• Graduation from a veterinary technician program or 3 years of veterinary technician experience
• Certification as a veterinary technician (CVT) or registered veterinary technician (RVT)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods
