Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations and assisting in analyzing the data for interpretation within the Cardiology department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Learn and grow in proficiency and expertise in pediatric echocardiography
  • Perform cardiac ultrasound examinations, including M-MODE, 2D Doppler, and Color Flow Mapping
  • Provide verbal reports to the Echocardiography Faculty and analyze data for final interpretation
  • Maintain equipment and follow OSHA/JCAHO Health & Safety Training Guidelines
  • Assist with research projects and training of cardiology fellows or visitors
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Cardiovascular Medical Sonography or previous work experience as a cardiac sonographer
  • ARDMS or CCI registered (certification required within 18 months of hire)
