Bonus: Up to $15,000 for new hires with relevant Cath Lab/Angiography Interventional Radiology Technologist experience, pro-rated by FTE.

Wage Information: The posted wage ranges reflect the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Additional premiums may apply based on shift, certifications, or degrees. Job offers are determined by a candidate's relevant experience, education level, and internal equity.

About EvergreenHealth: An integrated two-hospital system located in the beautiful Puget Sound area, EvergreenHealth is seeking an Experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist for its main campus. This facility includes three busy labs, featuring a new Biplane lab and recovery areas.

Position Overview: The Interventional Radiology Technologist plays a crucial role in assisting physicians during invasive vascular imaging procedures. This includes, but is not limited to, cerebral, peripheral, and visceral angiography, stent placement, angioplasty, and thrombectomy, alongside the responsibilities of a radiologic technologist. The individual may also function as a Cardiovascular Technologist as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Set, adjust, and control various electronic equipment to apply ionizing radiation for radiographic examinations.
  2. Possess detailed knowledge of all exams performed in the Cardiac Cath or Interventional Labs and effectively communicate these to patients and their families.
  3. Demonstrate operational competence in the use and maintenance of all equipment utilized in vascular imaging procedures, including physiological monitors and digital subtraction angiography.
  4. Perform the roles of scrub, circulating, and monitoring technologist.
  5. Exhibit operational competence with vascular imaging equipment, physiological monitoring equipment, contrast injectors, and other related devices.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Current ARRT certification.
  • Current State of Washington Radiologic Technologist Certification.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a radiology setting.
  • Experience with vascular imaging procedures, including cerebral angiography and thrombectomy.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider certification by the date of hire.
  • Current American Heart Association ACLS Provider certification by the date of hire.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, along with visual and aural skills to ensure safe patient care.
  • Knowledge and training to care for specific age groups.

Desired:

  • Extensive experience with vascular imaging procedures, including cerebral angiography and thrombectomy.
