Position Summary

We are currently seeking a skilled Vascular Radiologic Technologist to enhance our clinical team. The ideal candidate will prioritize patient care and demonstrate a strong understanding of the unique needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct radiology procedures as directed by physicians, ensuring accurate results and patient safety.
  • Exhibit proficiency in aseptic techniques and the use of procedural equipment.
  • Prepare imaging equipment for procedures, capturing patient images and documenting results.
  • Operate radiographic systems for image production and maintain quality control to ensure optimal imaging quality.
  • Prepare the procedure room by gathering necessary supplies.
  • Assist physicians during fluoroscopic and specialized radiographic procedures.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, including radiation safety and infection control measures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient testing information.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with C-Arm technology; interventional radiology experience is preferred.
  • Valid state RT license.
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
  • Basic life support certification is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of patient care experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong patient care and customer service skills.
  • Excellent time management abilities and capability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Professional demeanor with a focus on customer service in a fast-paced setting.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Patient-centered with effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
