Pediatric Cardiologist

The Department of Pediatrics at UW Medicine is actively seeking a full-time faculty member for an open rank position within the Division of Cardiology. This role is available for Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor on the Clinician Scholar pathway, with academic rank determined by experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities- Clinical Duties: Engage in outpatient and inpatient cardiology services, ensuring high-quality patient care and effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Imaging Expertise: Conduct and interpret a variety of non-invasive cardiac imaging techniques, including transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, focusing on cross-sectional imaging.
- Patient Care: Serve as an attending physician in the Echocardiography Laboratory, providing timely and accurate echocardiogram interpretations.
- Quality Improvement: Collaborate with administrative and clinical leaders to enhance service quality and performance, participating in relevant committees and task forces.
- Scholarship: Engage in significant research activities related to cross-sectional imaging, providing mentorship to faculty and trainees.
- Teaching: Contribute to educational programs for medical students, residents, and fellows, supporting the development of future healthcare professionals.
The ideal candidate will possess an MD or DO degree, board certification in Pediatric Cardiology, and advanced fellowship training in imaging. A current medical license in the State of Washington is required.
CompensationThe salary range for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications, inclusive of additional compensation opportunities through practice plans.
