Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Montessori Educator to join our team at Guidepost Montessori. As an Assistant Child Care Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting our Lead Teachers in guiding children to become more independent and confident in their abilities.

This is an excellent opportunity to start your career in Montessori and early childhood education, with many of our Assistant Teachers progressing to Lead Teacher roles over time. Our MACTE-accredited Montessori training program will provide you with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities
  • Support Lead Teachers in guiding children to become more independent and confident
  • Assist with daily classroom activities and lesson planning
  • Develop and maintain a safe and nurturing learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
Requirements
  • Experience working with children ages 0-6
  • CDA or Associate's Degree with ECE coursework
  • Maryland Credentials (45/90 hour course work)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-service oriented mindset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
