Mercy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate LPN to join our team in a unique educational environment. As a member of our Dedicated Education Unit, you will have the opportunity to teach and mentor upcoming graduate nurses, while advancing your own career and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care to Medical Telemetry patients with a 4:1 patient to nurse ratio (day shift only)
- Act as a preceptor to two senior-level nursing students, guiding them in their clinical rotations and providing support and oversight
- Collaborate with a clinical rotation preceptor to ensure seamless patient care and student learning
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge
- Education Pathway: LPN to RN with $10,000 in assistance and up to $20,000 in RN loan forgiveness
- Relocation Assistance up to $3,000 per policy
- Stay Premium Program: up to $8/hour based on years of Mercy service
- Day-One comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
- PTO/Vacation Time
- Employer-Matched Retirement Funds
- Shift Differentials
- New Increased Weekend Option Differential: $7.50 RN/$5.50 LPN
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current LPN license within the hiring state
- Current Basic Life Support Certification through an American Heart Association approved program
