Job Title: RF and Signal Processing Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented RF and Signal Processing Engineer to join our Communications and Signal Processing team in the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) at Penn State.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and integrate advanced wireless RF communications systems
  • Research and develop algorithms and software to interface with developed hardware and associated interfaces
  • Evaluate and develop communication security protocols

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Science discipline or higher
  • 14 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with computer networking, communications protocols, and OSI stack

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
  • Experience with software design, signal processing, FPGA development, and MATLAB/LabVIEW modeling and simulation

Salary Range:

The salary range for this position is $123,200.00 - $219,600.00, including all possible grades.
