CNC Machining Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to set up and operate various machine tools for the production of precision components and instruments. This role encompasses the responsibilities of precision instrument makers who fabricate, modify, or repair mechanical instruments. Additionally, the position may involve fabricating and modifying parts to construct or repair machine tools or maintain industrial machinery, utilizing knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate basic equipment and machines while performing routine tasks.
- Execute operational tasks by adhering to established processes.
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of equipment by preparing and providing support.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory codes through mandatory procedures.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators, and depth gauges.
- Plan, organize, and prioritize activities to meet business objectives efficiently.

Work Schedule:
This position is available for 2nd shift (3:15 pm to 11:45 pm) and 3rd shift (11:30 pm to 7:30 am).

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of machining experience in a manufacturing or repair setting, specifically with manual lathes, milling machines, or CNC lathes/mills.
- Familiarity with operational compliance and organizational policies.
