Audiologist Job Description

Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital is recognized as one of the nation's best rehab hospitals, and we're seeking an Audiologist to join our team. As an Audiologist at Sunnyview, you'll have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and diagnose individuals with hearing impairments and/or related communications disorders
  • Develop and implement treatment programs tailored to each patient's specific needs
  • Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Conduct non-sedated Auditory Brainstem Responses testing (ABRs)
  • Provide hearing aid dispensing services for various manufacturers
  • Assess and treat tinnitus
Requirements:
  • New York State Audiology Professional Licensure and Hearing Aid Dispensing License (or pending)
  • Masters or Doctorate Degree in Audiology
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent clinical skills in diverse treatment approaches
