About the Role

AEVEX Aerospace is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Imagery Analyst to support our team in Quantico, VA. As a Junior Imagery Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing and interpreting full-motion video (FMV) data to support national security objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • FMV Analysis: Perform real-time FMV analysis to produce intelligence products derived from airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) platforms.
  • Situational Awareness: Maintain situational awareness 24/7, providing continuous FMV exploitation while maintaining a clear understanding of mission objectives and intelligence requirements.
  • Advanced Analytical Tools: Utilize Cedalion and other multi-disciplined IC databases, as well as imagery analysis tools, to gather and analyze data, ensuring thorough and accurate reporting.
  • Intelligence Products: Create tailored intelligence products, including motion imagery summary reports and other deliverables that meet the needs of the USMC.
  • Target Identification and Research: Conduct target research, identify targets and related activities, and provide amplifying information to enhance the effectiveness of exploitation activities.
  • Structured Observations: Generate and provide metadata to support structured observations, contributing to DoD, USMC, and IC initiatives.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with peers and senior analysts, providing support and real-time exploitation comments to ensure effective decision-making during live FMV missions.
  • Analytical Skills Development: Engage in multi-INT research, exploitation, organization, prioritization, processing, analysis, and dissemination of intelligence information, adhering to Government priorities, policies, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Requirements
  • Relevant Experience: 0-3 years of experience in the US Military, Law Enforcement, or Intelligence Community, with a focus on FMV and imagery analysis.
  • Security Clearance: U.S. citizenship with a current Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) / T5 investigation and eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
  • Analytical Aptitude: Ability to utilize, analyze, and extrapolate intelligence information from still and full-motion video, contributing to decision-making processes.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of standard office policies, procedures, and equipment, including proficiency in MS Office, data entry, and collaboration tools.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Strong communication and teamwork skills, essential for effective coordination within the organization.
  • Typing Skills: Ability to type at least 40 words per minute while performing live FMV exploitation.
  • Physical Readiness: Meet minimum physical requirements to perform all duties and responsibilities as defined by management.
