Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett Colby Campus. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the cath lab, including the setup and operation of equipment.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning patients for imaging.
  • Assist the physician during procedures, including monitoring the patient's vital signs and providing support as needed.
  • Operate imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist or related field.
  • Scrub and circulate skills required.
  • Monitor and EKG skills preferred.
  • Balloon angioplasty, PCI, Stents, Thrombectomy, Impella insertion, Left/right heart catherization, Rotablader, Paracentenesis, Hemo Dynamic Monitoring experience required.
  • Watchman Procedures, Septal Closure, Pacemaker/Defib device placement, TAVI/TAVR procedure experience preferred.
Work Environment
  • Days Shift
  • Weekend REQ: Yes
  • Is on-call required? Yes; Approx 5-7 days/month
  • Open to accommodating block schedule? Yes
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 40h contract
