About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team at Jobot. As a key member of our land development consulting firm, you will be responsible for designing and developing infrastructure projects, including site development, public works, and transportation engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed designs for civil engineering projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Oversee and manage all stages of the project lifecycle, from conceptualization and design to implementation and completion.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments, and provide strategic solutions to any potential issues.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, construction managers, engineers, and other team members to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and project updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure all projects comply with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Provide technical advice and resolve complex engineering problems.
  • Supervise and mentor junior engineers and other technical staff.
  • Continually update skills and knowledge to stay current with industry trends and advancements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Civil Engineer.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Valid Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and best practices.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Superior problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Solid understanding of health and safety regulations, building codes, and legal requirements.
