We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Seafood Receiver to join our team at Euro USA. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate receipt and storage of seafood products.
Key Responsibilities- Receiving and Inspection
- Inspect all incoming trucks and seafood products to ensure they meet our quality standards.
- Verify the accuracy of received products against purchase orders and inventory records.
- Inventory Management
- Unload and store seafood products in a safe and organized manner.
- Rotate inventory using the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method to ensure freshness and quality.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Accurately record and report all received products, including quantities and product codes.
- Generate reports and labels as required.
- Warehouse Operations
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all department procedures and regulations.
- Operate inventory control equipment, such as bar-coding equipment and handheld devices.
- Experience and Skills
- Previous experience in a warehouse or inventory control environment.
- Ability to identify products by size, type, or product code.
- Basic math and reading skills, with the ability to understand and execute instructions.
- Education and Certifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Forklift and reach truck experience preferred.
