Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Seafood Receiver to join our team at Euro USA. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate receipt and storage of seafood products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receiving and Inspection
    • Inspect all incoming trucks and seafood products to ensure they meet our quality standards.
    • Verify the accuracy of received products against purchase orders and inventory records.
  • Inventory Management
    • Unload and store seafood products in a safe and organized manner.
    • Rotate inventory using the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method to ensure freshness and quality.
  • Documentation and Reporting
    • Accurately record and report all received products, including quantities and product codes.
    • Generate reports and labels as required.
  • Warehouse Operations
    • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all department procedures and regulations.
    • Operate inventory control equipment, such as bar-coding equipment and handheld devices.
Requirements
  • Experience and Skills
    • Previous experience in a warehouse or inventory control environment.
    • Ability to identify products by size, type, or product code.
    • Basic math and reading skills, with the ability to understand and execute instructions.
  • Education and Certifications
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Forklift and reach truck experience preferred.
