Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Helicopter Pilot to join our team at Life Flight Network. As a key member of our aviation team, you will be responsible for safely and professionally operating aircraft to transport critically ill and injured patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate aircraft in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain strong aviation skills, including proficiency in instrument flying and navigation.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and medical staff, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and care.
  • Communicate effectively with a variety of people, including medical professionals, patients, and colleagues, in a clear and concise manner.
  • Work varied shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet the needs of our patients and medical teams.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a professional pilot required.
  • Minimum of 2500 hours total time as pilot in command.
  • Minimum of 2500 hours R/W time required.
  • Minimum 50 Actual instrument time required, with a minimum of 100 combined.
  • Minimum 200 hours of unaided night time required.
  • Minimum 1500 R/W Turbine hours required.
  • Pilots with air medical transportation experience are preferred.
  • Pilots with NVG experience are preferred.
  • Mountain experience is preferred. Experience evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
  • Must hold a FAA Commercial Helicopter Certificate with Instrument Helicopter Rating.
  • Airline Transport Pilot certificate (ATP) preferred.
  • Must have and maintain a FAA second class flight physical.
