Mersen, a global expert in electrical specialties and advanced materials, is seeking a skilled Department Supervisor to join its team in Greenville, Michigan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently manage department operations to ensure productivity, safety, and key metric performance.
• Participate in leadership team meetings to optimize company performance.
• Communicate with peers and site management regarding daily operations.
• Coach, train, and answer production questions for shift team members.
• Evaluate personnel for performance reporting, compensation, and personal development.
• Enforce company policies and procedures.
• Assist production by operating within the department.

Requirements:

• Previous supervision experience preferred.
• Technical degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer skills in business systems and Microsoft suite applications desired.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read blueprints.
