About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Technician to join our team at Americold. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our forklift fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues to minimize downtime
  • Perform preventative maintenance to extend the lifespan of our equipment
  • Order and replace parts as needed to maintain our high standards
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
  • Adhere to safety protocols and best practices to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in forklift maintenance and repair
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and record-keeping skills
