We are seeking a skilled Certified Respiratory Therapist PRN to join our team at Johnston-Willis Hospital. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Administer therapy modalities as ordered by physicians, performing all aspects of mechanical ventilators and arterial puncture and blood gas analysis.
- Respond to code blue situations for assigned areas.
- Assist in the transport of ventilator and critically ill patients.
- Verify physician orders prior to therapy treatment.
- Provide accurate reports to oncoming staff at shift end.
- Enter all patient contacts into appropriate systems.
- Perform equipment rounds.
- Certified Respiratory Therapist
- Respiratory Therapy Degree – AAS or BS.
- One-year critical care experience.
- Previous experience with mechanical ventilation, blood gas analysis, and oximetry.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.
