Deciphera Pharmaceuticals is seeking a highly skilled Medical Director to lead our Pharmacovigilance team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our products and managing risk across the globe.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead global pharmacovigilance activities for marketed and investigational products
- Review and analyze safety data from post-marketing sources and clinical trials
- Identify and investigate safety signals, and manage benefit-risk profiles for assigned compounds and products
- Represent Deciphera at internal and external meetings, and provide medical expertise to cross-functional teams
- Develop and maintain risk management plans and REMS as applicable
- MD from an accredited institution of Medical Education (board certified preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Pharmacovigilance/Drug Safety with development and marketed products in a biopharmaceutical industry setting
- Excellent scientific/clinical and analytical knowledge base, with ability to assess data and understand safety/medical implications
- Strong ability to understand and evaluate technical, scientific and medical information; exposure to clinical data collection, assessment, and analysis
- Proficiency in MedDRA coding, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; safety database experience preferred
