UT Health Tyler is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Manager to lead our Trauma ICU team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our ICU department.
Responsibilities- Assume accountability for the delivery of patient care on assigned areas, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.
- Develop and implement effective education programs for staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Serve as a hospital/community expert/resource for Trauma ICU, providing guidance and support to colleagues and patients.
- Utilize effective communication with all members of the healthcare team to coordinate quality improvement efforts and ensure seamless patient care.
- Coordinate the movement of patients through the system from admission through timely discharge, ensuring that our patients receive the care they need in a timely and efficient manner.
- Graduation from an approved school of nursing and licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas. Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
- At least two years recent experience in the nursing specialty.
- Registered Nurse with a current license to practice in the State of Texas. BLS Required.
