Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a classroom of toddlers, developing and implementing engaging educational activities that meet their unique needs and abilities.
  • Design and implement play-based learning experiences that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate daily progress and developmental milestones.
  • Mentor and support assistant teachers and staff within the classroom.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy environment for toddlers, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; early childhood education degree or certification preferred.
  • Previous teaching or assistant teaching experience in a licensed early childhood program.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and handle infants with care.
  • Pass a background check and Nebraska State Patrol fingerprinting.
  • Meet the basic requirements of your local childcare regulatory agency.
