Job Overview

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, review necessary documentation, and perform related clinical and administrative duties. You will work closely with our experienced radiologists to deliver high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive climate and open communication for a team approach.

About the Role

  • Perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures within assigned areas, ensuring accurate and efficient imaging results.
  • Review all necessary documentation to ensure proper patient preparation and procedure execution.
  • Conduct preventative visual and manual inspections of radiographic rooms and equipment to maintain cleanliness and optimal performance.
  • Assist in managing radiographic procedures by coordinating resources and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Maintain certification and licensure through continuing education classes and stay up-to-date with industry developments.

Requirements

  • College degree preferred; new graduates welcome.
  • ARRT (RT)(R) and CT State License required; reimbursement available for licensure costs.
