We are seeking an experienced Child Psychiatrist to join our team in Columbia, Missouri. This permanent position offers a unique opportunity for academic appointment and teaching others.
About the RoleThis is an exciting chance to contribute to the mental health of children and adolescents in a dynamic environment. As a Child Psychiatrist, you will have the opportunity to work in either outpatient or inpatient settings, depending on your preference. The role involves assessing and treating children with various mental health conditions, as well as providing guidance and support to families.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans for children with mental health issues
- Provide evidence-based therapies and interventions to promote positive outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and families
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A medical degree (MD) and a specialization in psychiatry
- Board certification in child and adolescent psychiatry
- Experience working with children and adolescents, preferably in an outpatient or inpatient setting
