Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Cell Technician to join our team at Technical Professionals Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of test programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in designing and planning test setup, including instrumentation and hardware installation.
  • Execute test bench and/or test cell setup, ensuring proper calibration of instrumentation.
  • Conduct testing per plan, verify data accuracy, and prepare results for reporting.
  • Prepare prototypes of components assemblies and systems as directed by policies and procedures or written test plans or work requests.
  • Implement and actively support safety policies and initiatives.
  • Participate in program planning and/or status meetings.
  • Collaborate with the supervisor on project status, completion time projections, and any problems that may have arisen during the project.
Requirements
  • Vocational or technical degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent experience.
  • 0-2 years experience in an engineering technician role or relevant educational background.
  • Willingness to work 2nd shift.
  • Proficiency in both oral and written business communication.
  • Basic knowledge of automatic transmission operation, clutches, controls (both hydraulic and electrical), hydraulics, and gears.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Proficiency with computer operation, including Microsoft Office tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in engineering technician role.
  • Statistical training.
  • Programming in C-based languages.
