About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full-Time Supervisor to join our team at HomeSense. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring Associates are processing efficiently and effectively, and working as a team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Merchandise Operations: Create a positive internal and external customer experience by engaging and interacting with all customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store.
  • Team Leadership: Train and mentor Associates on established merchandising and processing principles, and ensure they complete tasks and activities according to store plan.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded, and organize and rotate back stock for easy replenishment.
  • Store Standards: Maintain and uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards, and ensure compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs.
  • Communication: Communicate accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities, and provide progress updates.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience.
  • Communication Skills: Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Teamwork: Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors.
  • Physical Demands: Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
