Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Artifact, Property and Outreach Specialist III to join our team at PCI Productions, LLC. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled professional to manage and care for NASA artifacts and exhibits in support of the NASA Communication Services (NCS) Contract at Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio.

Estimated salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year.

As a key member of our team, you will use your extensive experience and judgment to plan, account for, control, care for, maintain and manage both Government furnished, and Contractor acquired government property in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations, FAR 52.245-1 and the NASA FAR Supplement 1852.245-71.

Your responsibilities will include performing self-assessments and ensuring the Property Management System remains in an approved status, overseeing operations related to Government Property administration covering the FAR property outcomes, and developing metrics related to internal control goals and objectives for program/project/event audited.

Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing program control documents to ensure Property Custodians and end users have the property knowledge needed to operate government property, and generating routine and/or ad-hoc reports for management and customers.

This is an on-site position with outreach tasks at public or community events, requiring movement of items on/off shelves, set up and tear down of items at events, and some travel.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**
  • Bachelor's degree in appropriate area of specialization from an accredited college or university;
  • Ten (10) years of relevant experience;
  • Advanced oral and written communications skills;
  • Advanced writing and editing skills;
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Excel;
  • Advanced problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Understanding and applying FAR 52.245-1 and NFS 1852.245-71 requirements;
  • Preferred NPMA Property certification, such as CPPS, CPPA, or CPPM;
  • Preferred knowledge of industry leading standards, such as ASTM E53;
  • Knowledge of auditing techniques;
  • Knowledge of best practices for care, management, storage and transport of heritage artifacts.
