About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Front Desk Manager to join our team at Residence Inn Fremont. As a Front Desk Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the front desk operations and ensuring that all hotel standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of front desk operations, including greeting and welcoming guests, maintaining proper operation of the PBX console, and ensuring that all hotel standards are met (if applicable).
  • Supervision of front desk staff, including training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Monitoring and controlling front desk expenses, including supplies, equipment, and utilities.
  • Coordinating with other departments, including housekeeping, food and beverage, and engineering, to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Ensuring that all guest complaints and issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
  • Collaboration with the hotel's leadership team to develop and implement strategies to improve hotel performance and revenue.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing front desk operations and supervising staff.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of hospitality technology, including property management systems and point-of-sale systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 per year
