About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Clinical Practitioner to join our team at Heartland Alliance. As a key member of our Post Release Services program, you will provide specialized services to unaccompanied children, focusing on their mental health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical case management and counseling services to clients and their families.
  • Develop service plans to address the specific needs of each client.
  • Provide individual counseling to address motivational and psychosocial problems.
  • Make referrals to other Organization units and external providers as needed.
  • Advocate on behalf of clients to ensure they receive the necessary benefits and entitlements.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in clinical social work, counseling, or clinical psychology.
  • Minimum two years of clinical practice experience in a hospital or community setting.
  • Ability to speak and be fluent in a second language.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and remain self-motivated with minimal direct supervision.
